Lucy’s delivery was thoughtful and well-paced, making it easy to stay engaged. The topics were relevant and the activities helped bring everything together.

Good Governance training workshop

I can get very distracted by lots of things and the coaching helped me to keep close to my key interests and motivations…The tools helped me highlight what is important to me.

Coaching assignment

Lucy did a great job of moving it forward and managing the swampy detail and taking on so much of the work. Really high quality work, attention to detail and open to discussion.

Governance change project

Lucy provided a day of training for our Board. The day started with behavioural analysis of the Board members present and advice on how to interpret and use the results of the analysis. Lucy’s knowledge and understanding of the process was outstanding and fundamental to the success of this element of the day. The remainder of the day was used by the group to assess how well the Board performed the roles of trustees and identifying actions to address shortfalls. Lucy very quickly earned the respect of her audience, some of whom were sceptical of the need for this form of training. It is a tribute to Lucy’s professionalism that by the end of the day, the verdict of her trainees that it had been a most illuminating and useful day, was unanimous.

C, Charity CEO

Lucy was really knowledgeable about the topic of governance in organisations like ours. She was pro-active about getting the resources she needed from us (not always easy in a volunteer-run charity) and meeting the goals, with input from all the appropriate people. Her manner is an excellent mix of fun and friendly, plus assertive and she was able to deliver hard messages in a way that invited collaboration and positive action.
A, Charity Project Board Member

The contracting process was extremely clear – the goals and parameters were set at the beginning. Lucy’s use of challenging questions came from a place of absolute support, and I found them particularly helpful. Lucy’s skills as a coach were all the more effective because she was able to draw upon her years of experience in business development. This gave me confidence that the direction she was pushing me in through probing questioning was powered by her knowledge and insight. I most appreciated the opportunity to talk out the issues, reframe my thinking and formulate my own solutions.

E, Youth and Community Trust CEO

Lucy is a facilitator extraordinaire, generating partnerships and enabling colleagues to achieve potential both individually and on behalf of their organisations. Her seemingly boundless knowledge and rich experiences combine with her considerable energy to bring out the best in people and help engender a sense of confidence in those around her.

A, Museum Director

Lucy was helpful and supportive throughout. She took the time to thoroughly understand our organisation and needs, and tailored her approach and the support she gave to us accordingly. She was warm, friendly and an excellent facilitator who was able to capture the attention of our (sometimes very energetic) group! We particularly appreciated that she took the time to learn about working with the LGBTQ+ community and included time for a mentor within her proposal/fee. This demonstrated a commitment to learning, and also a recognition that the needs of the community and our organisation are unique.
L, Project Manager

A very helpful session prompting me to consider new ways of working and thinking.
