Coaching
As a leader of a purpose-driven organisation, it can be difficult to make time to think, to strategise and to invest in your own development. Day-to-day pressures, decision-making and capacity pressures can seem all-consuming.
Coaching secures purposeful time to reflect, prioritise and plan. You determine the particular challenge that you want to focus on for each session. As a skilled coach, I provide a confidential space and a structured process that supports you to reflect, assess your options, make decisions and commit to action. It’s about unlocking your own potential to move a situation forward and giving a framework of accountability— to yourself, your organisation and the communities you serve. You will come away with more clarity and a commitment to action. My empowering, non-judgemental approach means you can be completely open about what’s happening for you, work through it and take action.
A coaching session starts with a situation, question or barrier that you want to explore. So every session is different. Some of the topics leaders frequently bring to coaching include:
- Focusing the organisation more strongly on the things that really matter.
- Aligning the organisation’s structure, workforce and culture to its purpose.
- Unlocking communication difficulties at an organisational or individual level.
- Balancing the organisation’s mission with the practicalities of day-to-day operation.
- Strengthening governance and decision making.
I offer coaching in person, via videoconference or over the phone: at timings that suit the demands of your schedule.
